Built by an engineer who knew the problem first-hand
Greg Jakacki was a competitive programmer and international olympiad medallist who went on to work as a tech lead at Exoweb. There, he saw the problem up close: only around one in ten candidates who reached technical interview could actually do the work. His engineering team was losing hundreds of hours a year to interviews that went nowhere.
He built the first version of Codility using competitive programming methodology to identify genuine engineering capability before a single engineer was pulled into an interview room. It returned thousands of engineering hours to the organisation. Greg held strong beliefs about software quality and the quality of people building software. Those beliefs became Codility’s foundation.

From assessment tool to assessment partner
Natalia Panowicz brought psychometrics and business expertise to complement Greg’s engineering roots.
Under her leadership, Codility has grown from a screening tool into an enterprise platform for hiring, assessing, and developing engineering talent.
Today that means helping organisations navigate AI transformation: defining what engineering excellence looks like when AI tools are part of every workflow, and building assessments that measure the skills that matter now. Natalia Panowicz
Chief Executive Officer | US
Co-founder. Background in psychometrics and business. Raised by an engineer, which shaped how she thinks about the intersection of people and technology. Natalia has led Codility’s evolution from a screening tool into an enterprise platform for technical talent decisions, including the company’s current focus on helping organisations build AI-ready engineering teams.

Ilya Tillis
VP Product | US
Leads product strategy across the Codility platform, including Screen, Interview, and Skills Intelligence. Ilya’s team includes product managers, assessment scientists, and product designers working on how assessments are built, delivered, and validated. He is responsible for the product roadmap that extends Codility into AI skills assessment and ongoing engineering skills measurement beyond hiring.

Radu Farcas
VP Engineering | UK
Leads Codility’s engineering organisation across Poland, Germany, and the UK. Radu’s team builds and maintains the assessment platform, including the VS Code environment, code analysis engine, and the infrastructure that runs millions of assessments for enterprise clients. His insight that “anyone can write code now, but building is harder” directly shaped Codility’s current engineering-first positioning.

Caro Bon
