What happens when a candidate uses AI during an interview?

You choose whether AI is in the room, and you get evidence either way. With the AI Assistant enabled, every interaction is captured as reviewable AI activity alongside the full session transcript, so the interviewer sees the work and the help side by side. With it disabled, the controls are still running. Behavioral proctoring is designed to flag code pasted in from outside the environment, a copied task description, time away from the environment and abnormally fast completion, and in Interview those signals reach the interviewer live during the session, while there is still time to ask about them. The code evolution timeline replays how the solution was built, so a sudden large insertion is visible rather than inferred. Cheating apps detection, in Preview, runs through the Codility Desktop App and is designed to surface helper apps that hide themselves from screen capture, the technique tools like Cluely and InterviewCoder rely on. Signals route to a human reviewer and never auto-reject a candidate.
